She is a California native, born and raised in Southern California. She acquired her real estate license and started her career in 2000, while running the transaction coordinating department with Coldwell Banker Platinum Properties in Orange County, CA.
She then went on to help launch one of the first real estate technology companies, Redfin Southern California, from 2005 to 2007. There, she along with just two other agents brought the market to a profit within 6 months. She was in charge of handling everything from pre-listing property preparation and staging, listings, buyers, transaction management, client management, contractor liaison management, closing management, and investing client management—all with a 100% client approval rating.
In 2007, she left Redfin to focus on her family and new baby, while maintaining a 98% referral-based real estate sales business and also starting a company called The Paper Dolz. The Paper Dolz was a virtual Transaction Coordinating business that handled over 60 transactions a month. After running multiple successful businesses, she then decided to close The Paper Dolz in 2013 to be dedicated full-time to her real estate clients' needs, and then formed The Hetland Group, winning multiple awards for her achievements as a sales agent.
She has a tenacious work ethic and possesses both the emotional intelligence and the professional poise that is critical to be successful in this field.
